Hood River County Board of Commissioners

 
Hood River County is a Home Rule County with an approved Charter that is voted on by the citizens of Hood River County.   The Commission in Hood River County serves as the policy makers for the County.  The Commission reviews and adopts Ordinances, Resolutions, and Orders as needed and adopts other policies as needed to ensure services are provided as efficiently as possible.    
The Commission appoints a County Administrator to serve as the "CEO" of the County to manage the day-to-day business and oversee the many departments of the County. 
 
County Commissioner meetings are held the Third (3rd) Monday of each month, unless it is a holiday, or a special meeting is called.  Please visit the Board of Commissioners Scheduled Meetings page (link below) for dates/times of upcoming meetings.  
 
**Hood River County Commissioner meetings are conducted in a hybrid (in person/virtual) format allow participation by Commissioners and the public as needed.
