Hood River County 911 center is the single Public Safety Answering Point and dispatch point for Hood River County.  The dispatch center is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  There are 9 full-time dispatchers, 2 extra-help dispatchers, 3 supervisors and the Commander.  We receive emergency and non-emergency calls for service.  We then dispatch the appropriate public safety agencies.  Besides the everyday calls for service, we act as the communications center for Search & Rescue, Animal Control and Marine patrol activities.

Our center also occasionally dispatches for the Oregon State Police, United States Forest Service Law Enforcement Units, Columbia River Inter tribal Fisheries Enforcement and the Oregon Department of Forestry.
